Building a Referral-Based Business"
Question: Who is your most profitable customer?
Answer: Your existing customer base!

So, how do you get more of them at the least possible cost? Most businesses have a number of satisfied clients; however they don’t know how to effectively leverage that network. Learn the 3 fundamental principles to building a referral based business and strategies that will propel your business to new heights!

We all want to have people tell us that someone else referred them to us for some positive reason. Come hear Lisa Teach of Action International share some of the ways in which you can optimize daily contacts and turn them into your own sales force.

Lisa Teach is a certified Business Coach with Action International and draws upon more than 20 years of business experience to help small and medium-sized companies to become more successful. Lisa works with business owners to improve their business, increase profitability and develop their personal freedom. She provides periodic workshops and business development classes on crucial business issues such as marketing, team motivation, sales, and leadership. Lisa is also a member of the Middlesex Chapter of NJAWBO and serves as VP-Programming.

Women business owners, living in a ‘relationship economy’ recognize the importance of doing what comes naturally to most of us: connecting with others and sharing who we are and what we ‘do’. Relating, effectively, confidently and with intention, can significantly affect our range of influence and our bottom-line productivity both personally and professionally. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is simply a way of examining and understanding human behavior and consists of a series of specific techniques to help create the kind of reality we desire. By learning how to establish rapport within ourselves and with others, we increase the likelihood that our personal and business relationships will be successful.

Kathy Poehnert is a member of our chapter and she is the owner/director of InSight Services, and is a certified Life Empowerment Coach. Kathy is also certified in NLP and has over 25 years of experience empowering and educating others to live life to their fullest potential.

Be sure to mark your calendars for this special meeting. The pre-meeting presentation and the dinner meeting program complement each other and every business owner who wants to improve business the way women business owners do it best - through better relationships - should attend!
