NJAWBO Dues fall into five Basic Categories:

Emerging Business Class A–(Non-Voting): A Woman who is in the process of starting or has just started her own business. She will have left another employment situation within the past 12 months and shows interest in beginning her own business for the first time; or will be re-entering the workplace as an entrepreneur after a period of non-employment. Such a woman may not, at the time of her application for membership in this class, be receiving wages from another employer. This person may join in good faith at the reduced Emerging Business Class A rate for only one year. Her membership status will automatically change from Emerging Business Class A to Active upon the renewal of her membership. The Dues are $155 for one year, plus a one-time set-up fee of $25.

Emerging Business Class B–(Non-Voting): A Woman who is considering a move from employee to self-employed person. Dues are at the Active Class Member rate, but there are no voting privileges. Her membership status will automatically change from Emerging Business Class B to the appropriate classification upon the renewal of her membership. The Dues are $235 for one year, plus a one-time set-up fee of $25.
- Student–(Non-Voting): A Student Membership is available for full-time Students. Dues are two-thirds of the Active Membership rate, plus the one-time $25 set-up fee.
